So, once again we are back in the saddle again for another exciting edition of the Jihadii Herald. We apologize for the lack of a February issue, but Barney ate the printing presses. Yes, that's our story and we're sticking to it!!

So here it is, the new year, and we appear to have survived the whole Y2K thing, and now all we need to worry about the Lavender Lard Lord and the new W2K virus* headed our way. We have gotten some new submissions from our faithfull readers, and we are looking forward to more. 

There is much new news in the Jihad, none the least of which is the retirement of Malcalypse The Seeker from the Jihad, leaving his post as a Triumverate and as a VRDET High Councillor (see JAO News), several Ops appear to be gearing up, the long awaited finale to VRDET's Marraketh Connection OP is to be posted (and may already have been by the time this goes to press), and it looks like there may be some new activity in the Jihad in general. 

Welcome to the Media's New Millenium, even though we know that since the numbering system started with the year 1 and not the year 0, the new millenium won't start till 2001, and a new decade for the Jihad.
