Jihad Universe 2.0, Projected Release Date Announced.

"Our hope is to have the first draft available to pre-readers by Oct. 31, and the edited version to the rest of the Jihad by Thanksgiving."
Readers may or may not know about the revision of the Jihad Universe currently in the works but this project has been well into production for quite some time now. Not long ago a beta version of JU2 was made public for Jihadii to look over and though not a complete work, to use a basic set of guidlines. For those of you who may not have caught the beta release, you can still grab a copy at http://home.amigo.net/mrfnord/ju2/.
For those of you considering a charcter profile update in the near future, there is now a set of guidlines that everyone is urged to follow. Most profiles should only require a bit of minor tweaking and the new rules are pretty much the same as the old. The major differences between the old and the new are that, unlike before, there is actual documentation and this time around the common sense things we all know *not* to do are clearly stated. Hopes are that this will help new-comers with the all-important and often confusing job of writing their first character profile.
