| Mal's closing note in CGIab4d (see JAO News) has opened up a whole
can of worms. Is he correct? Is the Jihad dead? Should we stick a fork
in it? Or is this just the thing he knew we needed to get us up and moving
again?
It certainly seems to be a regular occurence. Things get quiet, some people comment on how quiet things are and how people just aren't around anymore, then some high ranking official decides to retire and for a time we have a lot of activity and then the doledroms set in again. Is this a natural cycle or an indication that things in the Jihad are done? There are many opinions on this one, but I have to stand on the side of those who believe there's life in the old girl yet. Sure we experience periods of inactivity, but that is true of most groups out there. Even major sports have off seasons and bad years. I think the Jihad will still be around long after I have decided to retire, and trust me, I don't see that as being any time soon. Rev. Cyohtee - Captain, XO, Kappa Squad, TRES Corps
